Barbarian, Diablo 3’ün ilk açıklanan karakter sınıfı ve anlatılanlara bakarsa Diablo 2’den geri dönen tek sınıf.
Ekim 2008 tarihinde yapılan Blizzcon’da açıklanan bilgilere göre, Barbarian’ın 3 adet yetenek ağacı olacak:
Her ağaçta 5 seviyeye dağıtılan Barbarian’a özgü hareketler bulabileceksiniz. Yetenek ağaçlarının aşağılarında yer alan hareketleri kullanabilmek için, gerekli yetenek puanı dağıtımını yapmanız gerekecek (Diablo 2’ye benzer bir sistem)
Aşağıda görebildiğimiz kadarıyla yetenek ağaçlarına örnekler verdim. Açıklamalar İngilizce, sonuçta oyun Türkçe olarak çıkmayacak, yabancılık çekmenizi istemedim (bahane)

Sizinde farkedebileceğiniz gibi, Barbarian hareketleri için “Fury” adı verilen bir çeşit kaynak kullanıyor. Şu anda her hareketin ne kadar kullandığı konusunda net bir bilgi yok ama ilerleyen zamanlarda mutlaka açıklanacaktır.
Ek olarak, her yeteneğin maksimum levelı – verebileceğiniz puan – farklı görünüyor. Bu oyunda dengeyi sağlamak için özellikle yapılmış. (Diablo 2’de hatırlarsanız, 20’ydi)
Tabiki burada yer alan bilgilerin sıklıkla değiştirilebileceği ve oyunun gelişim aşamasında olduğunu unutmamak gerekir.
